Really, I've just ranted and let it all out. You don't want to read this. Personal rant, feelings, technology moving forward, stuff.

You will be offended here, I guarantee it. And if you click don't say I didn't Tell you. )

Day 007

Wish I could put some cool James Bond thing here, but I've never seen a Bond movie and I'm not inclined to either.

Today started off with me being woken up by the dog puking on my floor. Not once but 4 times in all. Not fun. Piper starts barking because she hears me trying to make sure Frankie isn't going to puke on the little area rug in my bedroom, then my mom wakes up and is telling Piper to be quiet and then I'm yelling for my mom to come in and clean up the puke because I can't deal with puke. Blood and dog poop, fine, puke. Nope not me. So then I go calm Piper down while my mom is cleaning up in my room. Frankie then takes a little drink and we both lay back down on my bed. Cut to two hours later. All of us asleep, repeat of what happened earlier in the AM all over again.

So we get around for the day, and I take Frankie outside just to sit so we both end up laying down outside on the back patio.

It was basically a lazy day until late afternoon where my mom and I went to see a friend from High School give a piano recital. As he gets older Eddie becomes even more amazing on the piano. It was great to see him perform again. This time around he was selling CD's too. So of course my mom and I bought one then we made him sign it :) So we can go, you know we knew you when.

Went back to my parents, had dinner and chilled a bit more outside. We brought both dogs out this time and of course me being the picture taker I am we set up for a family portrait.

So I'm certain the only one that actually looks half decent is Piper.

Now I'm back at my apartment, I should be cleaning or gearing up for work, but I'm not. I'm probably going to go and read for a bit after I post this, and go to bed.

But tonight I watched the first episode of Glee. So I think I've seen the second and third. Not too sure about that, I know I saw the second because that was at Comic-Con last year. Tomorrow I'll either watch another episode of Glee or I'll finish out Sherlock or at least one episode of Sherlock. Or maybe I'll even watch my Netflix stuff I've got home right now.

Got my electric bill for the month. Holy crap. I thought last month was awful. Oi. But it's not like I can turn off the air. Being allergic to most outdoor stuff prevents that.

Now I'm sufficiently rambling so I'm going to go play a game of bejeweled blitz and then go read.

So I'm 27. Yippee. One year closer to 30. :-O

First off, Friday, I ended up working until 7pm :( I just don't get why they waited to so long to start creating the tutorials for this project. Oh well. (Actually I should be doing work right now, but it's 10:30pm on a Sunday night. I don't feel like it. Though I'm sure I will after I finish this entry.)

Saturday was NYC. OMG Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig are *fucking* amazing (you'll see why I used Fucking in the review). A Steady Rain, is a brilliant play. Emotionally disturbing, brilliantly written, and acted. Just them on stage for an hour and a half, nothing else.

Today, family came over and we celebrated my birthday. Got some money, some PJ's and a new winter scarf, gloves, hat set, and my dad bought me a new computer monitor, which can also double as a TV, so I've got to figure out if it'll fit on my stand where I have my current TV, and then I'm going to see about setting up HDTV in my room. Though that means I seriously will never ever leave my room. (even if I don't do HD, I'm def going to upgrade to the digital cable package that I have out in my living room. That means I'll be able to watch the Science Channel and BBCA right in the comfort of my bed).

Ok, Time for the Review. If you don't want to know what happens in the Play A Steady Rain, Don't read.

A Steady Rain Review )

So yeah, not a play for youngin's and the faint of heart. And both men if eligible better win some awards, to remember all that they had to remember for an hour and a half straight through, is utterly amazing. You could hear a pin drop in that theater. And people gasped when they were talking about some of the more violent things in the play. Just amazing.

And now for the shallow comment of the day, Hugh Jackman sitting in a chair with his legs spread, for 98% of the show. Umm yeah, you know where my eyes went a few times.

Now for some pictures (NYC)

Picture time, it's me of course there are pictures. )

So yeah, that's my weekend in a nutshell.

So today I went to see Chicago. Do I really have to say spoilers, as I think this current tour is ending, and I least I know Jerry Springer is done as Billy after tonight.

Lots of rambling and pictures ahead. )
