Jul. 10th, 2011 07:26 pmHmm, an actual update. I suppose I should do one.
Work is still interesting. This coming Wednesday I will be working from home. It's the first round of you know what. I'm being vague because I'm leaving this entry public.
I've been seeing a counselor for my anxiety. It flared up big time since my surgery. I'm convinced if I would have been told, after the surgery, I'd be feeling residual effects for 6-12 months, and that I'd have completely un-related side effects (ie, my hair shedding like crazy, the slight increase in sweat, my period being totally fucked up, etc), I wouldn't have sub-consciously freaked out. Also while not major it was a slight bought of Post Traumatic stress as well. Slowly but surely I'm getting back to normal.
I got to go to Knoebels this weekend. First time riding rides this year. I had an absolute blast. And the guys were right that I had myself more worried about things than I should have been, which also didn't help with the above issue. But now I am honestly looking forward to my trip in less than 3 weeks. Seriously, it's going to be an amazing time, with amazing people.

L-R:Devin, Chris, Bobby, Dave, Laurie, Me
I've also started writing a bit again. It feels good to be writing again. And I'm also more obsessed with books too, but I've always been that way. :)
I do need to cave and get a pro flickr account so I can start uploading pictures again. Will happen sometime.
