[livejournal.com profile] spazzy_camel before she passed away gave my old car the name Wesley since we were both Angel fans.

So when I got my new car, I named her Janet Wesley, for Janet the weevil, and I think every car I own is going to have some part of it's name Wesley. Its my last connection I have to Nikki, and I don't want that to go.

I can haz a Myfanwy right? We'd get along well. We both like Dark Chocolate.

Can I have a Weevil too? Janet might be nice, but I'd have to find her a play mate.

I mainly just watch for the Commercials but this year, I'm rooting for New Orleans. One of NoLa's offensive linemen went to my alma mater and he was incredibly kick ass in college, and seeing someone from a Division II college, where most D2 players don't get a chance, and he was given a chance, and has been quite successful in the past 4 years in the NFL.

So I am cheering for the Saints today.

Honestly, I can say only two roommates throughout my college career were mentally stable. Everyone else went off the deep end.

I apparently have some kind of sign glowing above my head that goes, "crazy people come live with her"

I won't go into details, but yeah. That's why I live ALONE.

Ugh, smack the button, ohhh what day is it today? Oh good not wednesday, picks up old cell phone and sets alarms and goes back to bed.

Last thing I think about before falling asleep. Let's just say what I think about makes me have happy dreams...

1. Nikki's Death

-Change me because someone who was so full of life and wanting to change the world so that people could be accepting of her lifestyle, should not have died at 22. I get sad all the time when I think about it. We were Nikki Squared. I was the first person she met when she came to bandcamp. Throughout the years we may have drifted apart and closer and apart, but she was still a constant in my life. I thank her everyday for opening my eyes to the struggle that gays and lesbians have to go through. I also love the fact that she helped do the Gay Fine by Me? shirts all over Blooms campus. I smile when I see photos of that day still going on because I know she had a hand in helping to start that.

2. Volunteering in New Orleans 4 months after Katrina

-Still pisses me off to this day that we can let our own country look like a third world country. To see the devastation first hand was unexplainable, it still is. To all the people we helped, they all had HOPE. They were looking forward to rebuilding and moving on with their lives. One of the great things we were told was to listen. These people who stayed and or came back early have stories to tell. They want them to be heard. We were there to listen to these stories. We were there to help them rebuild and to get their stories told. The media hardly showed half the story of what NO looked like.

Actually those are the only two life changing experiences I've got. I'm still young so there's got to be more somewhere in my life right?

What excites me is that I'm living my life to the fullest. I mean who would have thought that I would be getting my butt to the UK again? I sure didn't.

If anything since Nikki passed away, I've been more apt to go and do things, and not give a damn about other things.
